In the 2015-16 school year, more than 2.1 million students were enrolled in primary and secondary schools across the country. With the number of students increasing, so does the need for quality education.

In addition, the Ministry has established a Teachers’ Fund that helps to meet the basic living costs of teachers actively engaged in teaching.
