BENGALURU: In what could be a boost in Science education for the visually impaired, the Indian Institute of Information Technology-Bangalore (IIIT-B) has developed a technology to assist generate tactile snapshots of diagrams in Science textbooks quicker.

IIIT-B has developed a computer algorithm that would robotically translate photos in textbooks to 3-d-printable tactile fashions.
